Kensington Townhouse, London
Located within the De Vere Conservation Area in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, this five-storey Victorian townhouse has been sensitively reworked through a series of contemporary interventions to the rear of the property.
NGA were appointed to collaborate with interior designers Meraki Design, leading the architectural design of a double-height glazed rear extension and a reimagining of the garden. The extension was conceived to bring daylight deep into the plan, creating a strong visual and physical connection between the principal living spaces and the garden.
NGA also managed the planning process, guiding the project from Pre-Application discussions to securing full planning consent within a condensed timeframe, enabling the client to realise the full scope of their brief.
In addition to the planning and design work, NGA provided detailed construction drawings to support the delivery of the architectural elements on site.
