  • Nancy Gouldstone

    FOUNDER

    REGISTERED ARB & CHARTERED RIBA ARCHITECT

    Born in Dublin with a childhood split between Asia and Ireland, Nancy studied at the https://www.ucl.ac.uk/bartlett/architecture/bartlett-school-architectureBartlett School of architecture, University College London before working for Foster and Partners after she was headhunted during her final year of university.

    She went on to work at a number of exceptional, high-end design practices including SCDLP where she worked on the Flint house in Buckinghamshire for Lord Rothschild. She went on to work for many years as a sole practitioner before setting Nancy Gouldstone Architects in 2021.

  • Phoebe Harris

    ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

    PART II RIBA

    Phoebe studied at Cardiff University graduating with First Class honours where her final year project was a building sculpted by light.

    Before working at NGA , she gained excellent practical experience working for a number of years for a residential architecture practice in Bournemouth where she gained hands on experience on a number of schemes.

    She has a keen interest in horticulture and permaculture which she pursued as subjects in university and is leading the design process on a number of our current garden projects and those with living roofs.

    Phoebe is working on our Belsize Park townhouse and our Chestnut House project.

    She also leads the general project coordination of the practice where her excellent organisational, time management and people skills allow her to manage the workflow within the practice.

    Phoebe is currently undertaking her final Part III ARB architectural qualification at Westminster University.

  • Emily O'Brien

    PRACTICE MANAGER

    BA, PHD

    Emily holds a PhD in English literature from Trinity College Dublin where she graduated with First Class Honours. She pursued a career in academia for some years before realising that her love of beautiful design made her a perfect fit for an architecture & design practice. Her meticulous researching and writing skills allow her to manage the operational aspects of the practice while also leading the social media and website for NGA.

  • Deirdre Gallagher

    ACCOUNTS & ADMINISTRATION

    HEAD OF PROCUREMENT

    BA (Trinity College, Dublin)

    Our longest standing team member, Deirdre manages our administration and accounts for the office. ensuring that the business offers the most reliable and professional service to our clients.

    She also heads up the interior design procurement for the practice ensuring that furniture, lighting, soft furnishings and everything else we are purchasing for our clients happens efficiently.
